TokenQ · run by GRST · last updated 16 October 2026
TokenQ helps patients book a clinic token, follow the live queue and reach the clinic on time, and helps doctors and front desks run the queue. This policy explains what information TokenQ uses, why, who can see it, and how you can delete it. It covers the website clinic.tokenq.org and the TokenQ app.
What we collect
- Patients: mobile number; the name, age, gender and relationship of each person you add on that number (your family); your area, city and street if you enter them; the tokens you book (doctor, date, token number, status and times); prescriptions you choose to upload (photos or PDF); doctors you bookmark.
- Doctors and front desk: name, mobile number, specialty, clinic name and address, the clinic's map location, today's plan, the queue, and details you add to your public page (about, qualification, keywords, and your photo only if you choose to show it). Photos and documents sent for verification are seen only by TokenQ admin.
- Payments: doctors pay for the service through Razorpay. TokenQ keeps the payment status and reference, not card or bank details.
- Sign-in: a one-time code or your password (stored only as a secure hash), and a sign-in cookie on your device.
- Notifications: if you turn on alerts, the browser or phone gives TokenQ a notification address so we can tell you when your turn is near.
Location, camera and photos
- Location is used only on your phone or in your browser to show how far each clinic is. It is not sent to TokenQ. Directions open in Google Maps. Doctors and front desks may save the clinic's own location.
- Camera and photos are used only when you choose to scan a clinic QR code or upload a prescription.
How we use it
- To book tokens, run the queue, show your number and waiting time, and send messages about your token (for example by WhatsApp or SMS).
- To let the clinic you book with see who is coming.
- To show clinic reports to the doctor and the front desk.
- To keep accounts secure and prevent misuse.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your information
- The doctor and front desk you book with see your name, age, mobile number and token for that visit.
- People on the same mobile number (your family on TokenQ) see each other's tokens and prescriptions. Clinics do not see your uploaded prescriptions.
- Public doctor pages show only a doctor's professional details (name, specialty, clinic, area, today's queue). They never show a doctor's or patient's mobile number.
- Service providers that run TokenQ for us: web hosting, SMS / WhatsApp messaging, and Razorpay for payments. They use the information only to provide their service.
- We may share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while you use TokenQ. Token records are kept so clinics have correct daily reports. When you delete your account, your profile, family members, uploaded prescriptions, bookmarks, alerts and sign-in codes are deleted, and your name, age and mobile number are removed from past tokens.
Your choices
- Edit your profile and family members at any time.
- Delete a prescription or a family member.
- Delete your account: in the app (menu → Delete my account) or on the website at clinic.tokenq.org/delete-account.
- Turn location, camera or notifications off in your phone or browser settings. TokenQ still works; you will not see distance.
Children
A parent or guardian can add a child as a family member on their own mobile number. TokenQ accounts are meant to be created by adults.
Security
TokenQ uses secure connections (HTTPS), one-time codes and hashed passwords. Uploaded prescriptions are stored privately and are shown only to people on the same mobile number. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your phone and codes private.
